Poornaprajna Institute of Management

The students of the HR Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management from II MBA regular as well as dual specialization students accompanied the faculty members to ASHA NILAYA- Special school at Udupi on   24 th  March, 2018.    Asha Nilaya is a residential school and occasional rehabilitation centre for the special children located at Udupi, Karnataka.  The main objective of the visit was to mingle with the special children and to bring smiles on their faces by the ways possible.               The programme was held and arranged  in the main hall of the Asha Nilaya School.  The programme started with the group prayer followed by  welcome address by Miss Priyanka. Then the stage was open for the entertainment and this was initiated by Miss Mishal by her action song.This initiation brought energy to everyone gathered there and this led to beautiful open interaction with the special children.              This programme gave opportunity for everyone to enjo

Programs sponsored by the Alumni Association of PIM was conducted by a team of co-ordinators namely Ms.Niveditha Karanth, Ms.Ankitha Padmanabha Rao and Mr.Nishanth D'souza with the guidance given by Mrs. Diana Saldanha, the secretary of the alumni association and Ms. Sanjana Ninjoor, alumna of PIM.  Staff co-ordinator Mrs.Bharathi Karanth along with the Placement coordinator Mr.Shivanand Bhandarkar and the faculty memeber Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa effectively guided the students along with the overall guidance given by Dr.Bharath V the Director of PIM. Six events namely quiz, paper craft, adcopy, shortfilms,treasure hunt and best manaager were conducted under the banner of alumni association.  Mr.Rahul Kunder assisted in judging adcopy and short films along with the internal faculty memebers of the institution while Ms.Preetha Mairpady , Ms.Meenakshi Acharya alumni of PIM assisted by judging the other events.  Prajna Man

           The  HR Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management accompanied by the faculty member- Mr.Santhosh Prabhu and Mr.Ashwin Correa visited  Manipal Technologies Limited on 05th March, 2018 . The main objective of the industrial visit was to enhance the practical stimulation and to provide an overview on the  activities of the industry. At Manipal Technologies Limited,  the introductory session was conducted by Ms Vidya Shenoy, Recruitment Head- MTL. As a part of this session students were asked to introduce themselves which was followed by a  PowerPoint presentation  about MTL in brief. The students of the  HR Club of Poornaprajana Institute of Management visited  Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) formerly branded by Manipal University. The main objective of the visit was to enhance the practical exposure and to have  an overview on the diversified activities of the MAHE.
