Udupi: A Special Guest Lecture session was organized on 25.8.2014 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, recently on the topic “Role of Skill Development and Career Opportunities for MBA Graduates”. Mr. U. S. Sridhar from Mumbai was the resource person. In his special guest lecture, he elucidated the importance of skill development in Management Education in preparing the successful future managers. Mr. U. S. Shridhar, who has more than four decades of very rich industrial experience in prominent industries such as IBM, L&T and LAKME, pointed out that there is no paucity of career opportunities for MBA Graduates in India . All that is required is the development of Communication Skill, Computer Skill and other Soft Skills in the MBA students. The programme was presided over by the Director of PIM Dr. M. R. Hegde.
