Poornaprajna Institute of Management

31st Jan, 2022 , by PIM CSR club of PIM organised an outreach programme “visit to Asha Nilaya” home for the specially abled children on 31-01-2022. 45 Students of 2nd year MBA with four faculty members visited the special school. Students spent time with the specially abled children and their teachers. This programme sensitised the students towards the needs of specially abled children.

  The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute Of Management organized a Training program on fire safety and awareness in collaboration with the Fire department of Udupi district on 27th January 2022.   The Fire Officer of the department Mr. Sathish N along with his team interacted with the students and explained about the causes of fire and ways to handle situations which could be dangerous. He explained the techniques of firefighting and enlightened the gathering on how to manage emergency evacuation. There was a detailed and practical demonstration of firefighting where the students were given hands-on training to deal with emergency situations. Dr. Bharath welcomed the gathering and gave insights on the importance of fire-fighting during emergency. He stressed on the importance of students learning to face any extreme conditions and also to help the others in such cases of fire. Library Orientation Programme for the students of 1st MBA was held at Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 28th Jan 2022 at 3.00PM. The librarian of the institute of Mr. Purushotham Gowda explained about the resources and facilities available in the library. He also gave demo on how to use the digital library resource. Dr. Bharath V director of the institute, speaking on the occasion motivated the students to make best use of the facilities available in the library. Mrs. Sujatha G L, Staff Co-ordinator of library committee was also present, Mrs. Pallavi of 2nd year MBA was the MC of the programme and welcomed the gathering. CSR club of PIM organised a blood donation camp at Poornaprajna Institute of Management in association with Shri Poornaprajna Evening College and Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society, Udupi on 26th January 2022.  Twenty students of PIM participated in the event.
