A training program was organised for the non-teaching staff on 'OFFICE COMMUNICATION' by Prof. Vasantha Raviprakash, Associate Professor and HOD-Department of English, Poornaprajna College Udupi. Inaugurating the session Dr. Bharath V.   A team of 9 students from final year MBA enrolled and successfully completed an internship at Udupi’s well known FMCD retailer of coastal Karnataka HARSHA for a span of 9 days during their major mega event “HARSHOTSAVA”.   The team was a mixed bag having students from Marketing and Finance domains. It was a great amount of learning and a tremendous exposure to the functioning of a FMCD major especially during mega campaigns like HARSHOTSAVA. Students thoroughly enjoyed and heavily contributed to the campaign with lot of vigor, passion and bent of mind to learn as much as possible utilizing this wonderful opportunity.   World Water Day – 2022 Eco Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management has celebrated ‘ World Water Day'  on March 22, 2022 . The day was observed by organizing a special guest lecture at Prajna Hall of the Institute. Sri Rajendra Kalbavi, Executive Director, DK Nirmithi Kendra, NITK was the Chief Guest and Resource Person . Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kalbavi stressed the importance of conserving water for future generations. Professor Emeritus and PCRD coordinator Dr. Krishna Kothai shared his views on water conservation. Director of the Institute Dr. Bharath V presided over the function . Eco Club staff coordinator Prof Santhosh N Prabhu coordinated the whole programme. Second-year MBA student  Ms. Sameeksha M Prabhu compered the whole programme and Mr. Naveen R Bhat proposed vote of thanks.

A FDP on Behavioral traits was held on 07 th March 2022 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management for the teaching faculty. Speaking on the occasion the resource person Ms.Sree Sukhi – Director Human Resources spoke on how the willingness to adapt and learn new things was more important than that of Skill set possessed. She shared her own experience of how keen she was to learn new things that kept her relevant in the industry. She stressed on the importance of Machine learning, AI and Data analytics which would be the next level of the industry requirements. She stressed on the importance of faculty of the Institute keeping themselves updated on the industry developments. She also enlightened the faculty on how behavior stands out as paramount compared to academic score. Hinting on how rigorous the present selection process is, she directed the faculty to shape and mould the attitude of the student, so that it can help them get better placement opportunities.   Annual Sports Meet 2021-22 The Annual Sports Meet of Poornaprajna Institute of Management for the Academic Year 2021-22 was held on 4 th of march, 2022 at the Institute’s ground. Inaugurating the Meet, Principal of Poornaprajna College Dr. A Raghavendra stressed the importance of having physical fitness to be successful in one’s career. Director of the Institute Dr. Bharath V told the students that participation by students in different events is important and not winning or losing. He urged the students to make the optimum use of the opportunities given. Staff coordinator of Sports Club Dr. Naveen Kumar K R thanked Dr. A Raghavendra for inaugurating the sports meet.
