Placement Drive by Robosoft Technologies Udupi (Techno Pro Japan) On June 29th 2022, the coastal Karnataka’s leading IT solutions and mobile application developer Robosoft Technologies conducted an onsite placement drive at Robosoft campus Udupi for final year MBA students of Poornaprajna Institute of Management. 14 students of final year MBA attended the drive for the role of Executive-Talent Acquisition. The selection process consisted of GD and Personal Interview. Among the 14 participants, three students were finally selected by the organisation. Ms. Laxmi Rajiv Shetty, Associate Manager-Talent Acquisition for Campus Relations at Robosoft Technologies coordinated the placement drive along with Mr. Shivanand M. Bhandarkar, the faculty coordinator of Poornakash -the Training and Placement Cell of the Institute.

On 24th and 27th of June 2022, Rinex Technologies Bangalore conducted group discussion and personal interview rounds for students for vacancies in their Rinex Mangalore campus. 19 students from final year MBA enrolled for the interview process and among them 7 students were shortlisted after the qualifying Group Discussion round. Finally, after the completion of personal interview round 6 students were selected for the role of Business Development Executive Mangalore Location with CTC of around 6 lakhs p.a.

Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised an extension programme in association with Poornaprajna centre for Research and development on 25th June 2022. Students visited one of the prominent NGOs of Udupi district i.e. Namma Bhoomi. Mr. shivananda Shetty explained the functioning of the NGO. Namma Angadi, one of the initiatives of Namma Bhoomi a wing of parent NGO Concerned for working children caught the attention and appreciation of all the students. Forty Nine students of PIM along with Dr. Krishna Kothai, the coordinator of PCRD , Dr. Bharathi Karanth, faculty coordinator of EDP Club, faculty member Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa and Office Manager Shrihari accompanied the students.

Students appreciated the visit to RUDSET , the different training programs provided like the beautician training, stitching , poultry farming, dairy farming,electric Motor Rewinding & Repair Services, Beauty Parlour Management, Photography & Videography, Cell Phone Repairs & Service, Gharelu Vidyut Upkaran Seva Udyami, Two Wheeler Mechanic, Entrepreneurship in Desktop Publishing, Computer Hardware & Networking, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, Computerized Accounting, Men’s Parlour and Salon Udyami, Installation & Servicing of CCTV Camera, Security Alarm & Smoke Detector, Fast Food Stall Udyami, Plumbing and Sanitary Works, Travel & Tourist Guide etc. This

Twenty students of PIM along with the faculty and PCRD coordinator Dr. Krishna Kothai visited Shankaranarayana Credit cooperative society on 11th June 2022. Students were exposed to the functioning of cooperative society. Mr.Dayananda Rao, Director of Shankaranarayana Dairy Coooperative society explained the functioning of dairy cooperatives, role of self help groups etc. to students Students were offered refreshments and lunch at Shankaranarayana. Students of PIM were taken to Zonal Agricultural and Horticultrual Research Centre, Brahmavara for outbound training on 3rd June 2022. Students were appraised of the necessity of understanding the agricultural and Horticultural research as way to face the problem of food shortage which is contemplated to occur soon.
