Poornaprajna Institute of Management

NAAC Meeting has become a common feature of Poornaprajna Institute of Management. Accordingly, on 27.01.2018 a meeting was conveyed.

An extension programme was organised by the finance forum of PIM in association with Udupi zilla kanakadasa seva samaja on 17 th  January 2018.    15 students of first year and second year MBA organised this programme for the benefit of the Kuruba community children at PIM.    Students of PIM divided themselves into 4 groups and designed the content for the programme.    They made PPT presentations to the students about the different financial institutions, their role, functioning etc.    The students were enlightened about the headquarters of such institutions, people heading such institutions and the qualifications required to get into such institutions.    The objective of the programme was to raise the financial literacy level of the beneficiaries of the programme.    The programme also included conducting some games to make the sessions lively. This was followed by an interactive question session along with effective feedback. Refreshments were provided to the students.

women empowerment cell in association with Udupi Zilla                                             Kanakadasa Seva Samithi  Today’s women play multiple roles. A healthy work-life balance assumes great significance for working women particularly in the current context in which both, the family and the workplace have posed several challenges and problems for women. Today working women have to cope with two full time jobs and as a result she experiences lot of pressure. Understanding this and to prepare the children mentally for their future Women Empowerment Cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management held a session on Work-Life Balance to the children of members of Kanakadasa   Seva Sangha, Udupi on January 10 th 2018. Students of PIM enlightened the students on what is work-life balance, why this problem arises, what are the benefits and how work-life balance can be achieved. A Declamation on the theme "Ragging-Prevention" was held at Poornaprajna Institute of Management through the Anti Ragging Cell.  Students of both first and second year MBA enthusiastically participated in the competition expressing their views on the stated theme.  Dr. Bharath V, the Chairperson of Anti Ragging Cell, Dr.Bharathi Karanth, Member Co-ordinator of the Anti- Ragging Cell were present on the occasion.
