26th Feb, 2022 , by PIM Entrepreneurship Development cell of PIM in association with PCRD & Karnataka bank organised a Two days entrepreneurship development programme at PIM on 25th and 26th Feb 2022. Both first and second year MBA students along with faculty and director participated in the sessions. The inaugural ceremony took place on 25th with DR. Chandrashekhar as the chief guest of the programme. Dr. Krishna Kothai coordinated the whole programme. Mr. Naveen R Bhat, Ms. Sowmya Ms.Saakshi, Mr.Kiran Udupa ,Ms.Sameeksha , Mr.Mayura, Ms.Anusha coordinated the programme.

A FDP on leadership as a Noble Profession was held on 19th February 2022 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management for the teaching faculty. Mr.Sreekanth K Arimanithaya, Managing Partner E&Y enlightened the gathering with his versatile experience in the Management science.  Speaking on the occasion, he said that leading others is a privilege and a honor.  A good leader needs to balance his behavior and actions for the overall development of the society and community at large. He urged the faculty to be AGILE in their approach and be sensitive towards the student community. He also stressed on the importance of building and managing the four energies, viz., physical, Intellectual, emotional and spiritual. He insisted that the faculty should be very clear about their vison and purpose as this helps them to plan their next course of action. On the occasion of Matribhasha Diwas, the Literary Club of the Institute has conducted Elocution competition on the topic ‘My Childhood Days’ on 21st February, 2022 at Prajna Hall of the Institute. The contestants spoke on the topic in their respective Mother Tongue or Matribhasha. Sixteen contestants, both from first and second year, have taken part in the competition speaking in Kannada, Hindi, English, Tulu, and Konkani. Prof. Santhosh N Prabhu and Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa judged the performance of the students. Literary club student co-ordinators from second MBA Mr. Kiran Udupa and Mrs. Srinidhi K S co-ordinated the whole event. Orientation Programme on Prajna Vaibhavam, an in-house students’ competition, was organised at Prajna Hall of Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 17th of February, 2022 for the benefit of first year MBA students. Director of the Institute Dr. Bharath V, Professor Emeritus and Co-ordinator of PCRD, Dr. Krishna Kothai, Staff Co-ordinator of Prajna Vaibhavam Dr. Naveen Kumar K R and all the faculty members were present on the occasion. Dr. Naveen Kumar K R briefed the students as to why Prajna Vaibhavam was started by the Institute, and how this competition is structured and conducted for the benefit of students. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Krishna Kothai told the students how forums like Prajna Vaibhavam can help students in shaping their career and personality. Finance forum of PIM organised a workshop on the topic "Analysis of Union Budget -2022( An analysis of budget with respect to Macro Economic Variables) on 8th February 2022 at Prajna Hall. Mr.CA Sridhar Kamath, Partner, Kamath & Co., Chartered Accountants Udupi was the resource person for the session. CA Shridhar Kamath gave an insight into the positive and negatives of Union Budget 22-23 The programme was conducted by Ms.Nidhita, Ms. Panchami, Ms. Srilekha and Ms.Srinidhi, the 2nd year MBA students of the institute. Both first year and 2nd year MBA students interacted with the resource person and got their doubts clarified. The programme attended by all faculty members was coordinated by faculty coordinator of the finance forum Dr. Bharathi Karanth and was presided over by Dr. Bharath V, the director of the institute.
