Pre Placement Talk and Industry - Academia Interaction - Ernst & Young Global

It was a day filled with lots of special moments when the Director-HR of the prestigious multinational professional service network Ernst & Young Global Mrs. Sreesukhi addressed the final year MBA students of Poornaprajna Institute of Management. 
 The staff and the students were filled with lot of excitement and enthusiasm to hear from one of the top honchos of the corporate world Mrs.Sukhi about the working of the corporate world, possibility of employment for the final year MBA students, the skills required to be a part of EY, the pre requisites to perform in the interviews and much more. 
 It was indeed time well spent were-in students got a very rare opportunity to interact with a person at the capacity of a Director-HR of a global conglomerate and have a free & fearless conversation and clarify their doubts and seek advice from her. 
 The Management, staff and students are ever grateful to Mrs. Sukhi who was accompanied by her better half for taking time out of her busy schedule and interact so generously with everyone without any reservations. We at PIM feel delighted to have such an opportunity which is more of a dream come true.

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
