HALF DAY VISIT TO “MAMATHEYA THOTTILU”

 

On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi. 


Ashritha M S hosted the program. 
The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life. 

Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering.

Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole” and “Bhaninalli modi banda chandmama”.


The inmates were presented individual gifts which included stationery items such as books, pencil, eraser and sharpener along with chocolates. 

The students from Poornaprajna Insitute of management spent precious and memorable moments with inmates. 










Refreshments were served for the inmates as well as for staff members.
