Book releasing function of Mudipu, written by Prabhakara Nirmarga was held at Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 29-1-2009. Dr. M. R Hegde, Director of the Institute, Dr. Jayaprakash Mavinakuli and Prabhakara Nirumarga attended the function.

On 10.10.2008 a Special Guest Lecture was delivered by Dr. U. K. Krishna, Director, Nippon Ayurvedic School , Japan and also the Chief Consultant, Indus Valley Ayurvedic Center (JVAC), Mysore . He spoke on the topic “Importance of Health in Management”. He enlightened the students on various facets of physical and mental health and its importance in achieving success in the work environment. He also illustrated the modern management techniques evolved in Japan . PIM students witnessed on enthralling Guest Lecturing Session by Prof. B. V. Raghunandan, a renowned Professor of Commerce, SVS College Bantwal. Udupi: A Special Guest Lecture session was organized on 25.8.2014 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, recently on the topic “Role of Skill Development and Career Opportunities for MBA Graduates”. Mr. U. S. Sridhar from Mumbai was the resource person. In his special guest lecture, he elucidated the importance of skill development in Management Education in preparing the successful future managers. Mr. U. S. Shridhar, who has more than four decades of very rich industrial experience in prominent industries such as IBM, L&T and LAKME, pointed out that there is no paucity of career opportunities for MBA Graduates in India . All that is required is the development of Communication Skill, Computer Skill and other Soft Skills in the MBA students. The programme was presided over by the Director of PIM Dr. M. R. Hegde.   The inaugural session of special guest lecture series for the year 2008-2009 was held at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi on 12 th August 2008. The inauguration was done by the most eminent journalist of our nation Padmabhushana Dr. M. V. Kamath. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. M. V. Kamath emphasized to the students about having a clear conscience, to stick to commitments and to never give up the values in life which he considered the most valuable in any individual’s life. Dr. Kamath went on reminiscing and sharing his sweet memories of those proud freedom fighting days to the students and advised them not to lose values in life, though the world order changed around. Udupi : Ms. Nirupama Bharadwaj of Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi has bagged the 3 rd Rank in MBA Examinations conducted by Mangalore University in May, 2008. Students of the very first batch of MBA of PIM brought laurels to the Institute securing 100% result in their MBA Examinations and 90% of them have passed their MBA in First Class. The 3 rd rank holder Ms. Nirupama Bharadwaj hails from Sullia in Dakshina Kannada District and she is the daughter of Smt. Sridevi Bharadwaj and Sri Vishwesha Bharadwaj. She is presently working as Asst. A Special Guest Lecture was organized at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi on 22-08-2007 on the topic “Project Management” by Dr. Parameshwar P. Iyer from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore . He enlightened the students on the topic and explained the process and implementation of the project.
