Price distribution day and Cultural day

Price distribution day was organised at PIM on 10th September  2022.  Dr. Chandrashekar, honorary treasurer of the governing council of PIM handed over the endowment prizes. CA Prashanth Holla, Honorary treasurer of the governing council distributed the sports prizes and Dr. Krishna Kothai , Prof. Emeritus and  co-ordinator of Poornaprajna Centre for Research and Development and Poornaprajna –Rotary Centre for  Social Empowerment distributed prizes of Prajna Vaibhavam and literary activities. Dr. Bharath V, Director of the Institute welcomed the gathering and Ms Prithvi of II MBA proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Naveen Kumar, Associate Prof , presented a report of the activities of the Institute for the academic year 2021-22. Ms Sammeksha Prabhu of II MBA was the master of ceremony.  Ms. Namitha And Mr Shreesha Aithal, sports coordinators readout the names of winners of sports and games, Ms Heera Sanam announced the names of endowment prize winners and Mr Savin read out names of prize winners in Prajna Vaibhavam and literary competition. All the students of I and II MBA and faculty members were attended the program.  Cultural performance was also a part of the program. The students of both the classes showcased their talents in singing, dance, poetry etc. Mr Naveen Bhat of II MBA was the MC for the cultural program. Mrs Sujatha G L, Cultural Coordinator, coordinated the program.

HALF DAY VISIT TO “MAMATHEYA THOTTILU”

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
