Gamification workshop was conducted by Mr. Ramani Venkat for students of 2nd year MBA on 29th July 2022. Mr. Ramani Venkat is an NLP trainer. He is the mentor to various startups. He is known to be a serial entrepreneur. He is the sales and strategic consultant to mid-sized companies. He has more than 26 years of experience in top MNCs at senior management positions of MNCs. He is BE in Electronics and Telecom from Regional Engineering college Silichar and has masters in marketing management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies, Mumbai University. The objective of gamification workshop is to provide experiential learning for the students. It involves teaching management concepts through games. It is a games based workshop where students learn Micro and Macro strategies of each aspect of business. It involves specific games on HR, Marketing, Finance etc. Mr. Ramani Venkat conducted the day long gamification workshop for the students. This programme was liked by all the students and received a very favourable feedback by the students. Dr. Bharathi Karanth, faculty member of PIM coordinated the gamification workshop.

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
