Mock Interview Session for PIM Students

Poornakash-Placement cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organized a mock interview session for second-year MBA  students on 30th October 2019. The session began with Ms. Fiona of 2nd year MBA rendering the welcome speech and introduced the guest to the audience. Mr. Subhash Bangera, the resource person for the day  is a renowned entrepreneur, soft skill facilitator, and performance advisor, who is a The the session began with Ms. Fiona rendering the welcome speech and thereby introduced the guest speaker to the audience  and promoter of Shlokaa group, manufacturers of premium quality  kitchenware and appliances, he has more than 12  years of hands-on experience in the automotive sector with General Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra with exposure in projects, purchasing and program management. He is also a Freelance soft skills facilitator for diverse clients viz. corporates, and academic institutions.


Mr. Bangera held a mock interview for the students and made them  understand the etiquettes of interview and how to face the overall challenging situations during the interview process, thus this was a very informative session where students learnt how to prepare for the job interview and got an insight into the present-day interview process. The the program was well organized under the leadership of the Director of PIM Dr. Bharat V., Dean Dr.Sureshramana Mayya and was coordinated by the placement cell officer and Assistant Professor Mr. Shivanand Bhandarkar. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms Sharon of 2nd year MBA.

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
