Sharada Pooja at PIM held on 18 May 2019

To invoke the blessings of the Goddess of Learning Sharada Pooja was celebrated on May 18 2019, with devotion & respect. His Holiness Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, President, Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council and Chairman, Governing Council, Poornaprajna Institute of management, Udupi performed the pooja and distributed Prasadm to students. He also gave his blessings to students and faculty. All the faculty and students were present on this auspicious day. 
His Holiness felicitated the rank holders, achievers and student leaders who toiled for the NAAC Process, the winners of various competitions, indoor and outdoor. The Swamiji also felicitated Sri Anantajit Tantri, who developed the website of the Institute, Mr. Varun, Miss Sahana. Dr. Sureshramana Mayya introduced Ananthajith Tantri and gave a detailed account of contributions of Anantajith Tantri. Miss Jacqueline Nikitha was the Master of Ceremony. Dr. Bharath, the Director of the Institute, presented the list of persons who contributed towards the quality initiatives of students. Dr. Bharathi Karanth, the NAAC Coordinator and Senior Faculty of the Institute coordinated the entire programme and also hosted the special lunch to all the students and faculty at noon.

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
