SHARADA POOJA AT PIM   As a part of tradition and culture of PIM Sharada Pooja was conducted on 7th Oct 2021 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, to invoke the blessings of Devi Sharada Matha, goddess of knowledge. His Holiness Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji , president of Sri Admar Matt Education Council and the Chairman of our Institute performed the pooja and blessed the students and staff of PIM. Addressing the gathering Swamiji explained the meaning of saraswathi mantra and the relevance of conducting Sharada Pooja every year. Speaking on the occasion, Dr G S Chandrashekar, Medical Director of Adarsha Hospital and Secretary of our Institute threw light on the challenges faced by the Institute and students during the pandemic.  Dr. Bharathi Karanth, Associate Professor at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, delivered a special guest lecture at the Post Graduate Centre of Poornaprajna College.  She addressed the MCom students on 23rd September 2021 on the topic "Research Process and Sampling Design".  Mr Nagaraja Acharya, Assistant Professor of PPC, co-ordinator of the guest lecture introduced Dr Bharathi Karanth and proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the programme.  Students interacted with the resource person and clarified their doubts.  

Poornaprajna Institute of Management in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Udupi has organised ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ on September 21, 2021 to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav. Dr. Bharath V Director of the Institute welcomed the participants and told the importance of remaining fit, both physically and mentally. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Wilfred D’Souza, District Youth Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra, Udupi highlighted the importance of youth in building the nation. Principal of Poornaprajna College Udupi Dr. Raghavendra A, told that fitness doesn’t come overnight; it requires continuous, committed efforts to remain fit in life. Mr. Wilfred D’Souza and Dr. Raghavendra A flagged-off the Fit India Freedom run. Both first and second year MBA students, teaching and non-teaching staff of PIM participated in the run. Physical Education Director Mr. Sukumar coordinated the whole event.

The Placement Cell of PIM ‘ Poornakash ’ in association with IQAC has organised a ‘Two Days Career Guidance Programme’ on 26th and 27th of August 2021 at Prajna Hall of the Institute. The final year degree students of Commerce and Management from Poornaprajna College, Udupi participated in the programme. The programme was conducted in three separate sessions. Director of Institute Dr. Bharath V, IQAC coordinator Dr. Naveen Kumar K R, Placement Officer and coordinator of Placement Cell Prof. Shivanand M Bhadarkar and senior faculty member Prof. Sujatha G L were the resource persons for different sessions during the two days programme. Around 200 students participated in the programme. All the faculty members of the Institute were present during all the sessions. The faculty members clarified different doubts raised by the students. Office manager Mr. Shrihari C D made necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programme.

PCRD/PIM in association with PPC,Udupi organised a unique cultural programme "VAGVAIBHAVAM" on 25th August 2021 at Mini auditorium,PPC. H.H Shri Vishwapriya theertha Swamiji inaugurated the programme. coordinator of PCRD, Dr. Krishna Kothai delivered key note adress and highlighted the importance of language in the art of speaking. artists from PIM & PPC exhibited their cultural talents. Office Manager of PIM Mr.Shrihari played flute;Deeksha and prathibha, faculty from PPC sang classical & emotional songs.
