Prof. Harish B, Proprietor of Premier Investment, Udupi called PIM students to take any decision on Investment in Shares and Debentures through technical analysis. Intellectual Property Rights Workshop by Advocate Pradeep Kumar

IPR cell of PIM organized one day workshop on the topic of Concepts and Importance of IPR under IQAC. Mr. Pradeep Kumar well known Advocate of Udupi was the resource person. He enlightened the students in areas of Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights about the consequences of breaking the Law of IPRs. Dr. Bharath, Director of PIM presided the programme. M.B.A student Jnanesh welcomed the gathering, Nirmala delivered vote of thanks and Jackline Nikitha coordinated the programme.

Extension Activity Organised by CSR Club in Association with Adarsha Hospital

On 28 th August 2016, the members of CSR club of PIM joined hands with the Adarsha Hospital in their endeavour to contribute to the welfare of the society, through the Health checkup and creation of awareness about maintaining good health at Ajekar.   Eight students of PIM, along with the faculty co-ordinator, designed the awareness campaign.   A PPT presentation was made about the cost of neglecting health and about the methods to be followed in good health maintenance.   The students involved themselves in reaching out to the local people which brought them nearer to the miseries and hardships of people of lower income category.

HR Club organizes a workshop on 'Happiness Management'

The actual sense of life is to be happy.  Everyone is supposed to be happy in life.  We came to this world with a purpose, which is to be fulfilled, said M. Jaikishan Bhat, Principal of Western Institute of Technology, Udupi Branch and resource person. He was talking on 18.08.2016 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management. Dr MR Hegde, Director of the Institute presided over the function. Dr Bharath V, Senior Faculty and all other faculty members were present on this occasion.  He further said that  Happiness is something we create, it is not something to achieve. It is a path we choose, not a destination to arrive at.  The session was very vibrant as the participants came forward and were given an opportunity to brainstorm on various ways of staying happy in this complex and mean world.

Corporate interaction session with Mr.Vilas Nayak CEO Hanuman group of concerns and spandana tv on the topic project management  was held on 17th August 2016 at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi.  Mr.Vilas Nayak CEO of Hanuman group of companies enlightened the students about the different facets of project management.  The technical feasibility, financial feasibility, market feasibility analysis are necessary before moving ahead with project execution he stated.  The director of the institution Dr.M.R.Hegde, presided over the programme.  The faculty members and the MBA students participated in the interaction.
