Scientific Investment Decision making results in wealth maximisation and gives an effective mechanism to handle the risks caused due to price fluctuations of the equity shares.  The fundamental analysis comprises of systematic analysis and application of the different parameters which gives a reliable basis for investment.  As financial management is an integral aspect related to every individual irrespective of the occupation he decides to engage in, systematic investment in equity shares and other securities would increase the wealth of commoners in  the most accepted legal way said Mr.Harish B, the proprietor of Premier Investments limited on 30th October 2018  at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, addressing the first and second year MBA students on the topic ‘Screening of the stocks for investment through fundamental analysis”.  The workshop was organised by the Finance Forum of the institution.  The Director of the institute Dr.Bharath V presided over the programme.  The programme was attended by the dean Dr Sureshramana Mayya, all the teaching staff and students of both first and second year MBA.  The programme was coordinated by Dr.Bharathi Karanth, the faculty in charge of the finance forum of the institution.  Students of 2nd year MBA Ms Roshni Linet Quadros, Mr Sudhindra Bhat and Mr Jnanesh Mendon conducted the programme

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

Anti-Ragging Cell conducts a skit on the menace of Ragging

 Anti Ragging cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a Skit programme by the students on the theme of "Prevention of Ragging".  Five teams presented their idea about the problems involved and the ways to overcome ragging through their skit.  The programme was appreciated by the Director of PIM, Dr. Bharath V.  The Anti-ragging committee members along with all the faculty were present on the occasion.

VISIT TO OZANAM-OLD AGE HOME AT KALLIANPUR, UDUPI.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice.
