HALF DAY VISIT TO “MAMATHEYA THOTTILU”

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Ashritha M S and Nagashree K taught action songs to the inmates, along with English alphabets, Kannada vocabulary, Numbers from one to twenty and days of a week. Inmates danced for the song “Bumbum Bhole”

A Visit to the most happening radio station RADIO MIRCHI MANGALORE

  Poornaprajna Institute of Management organized a visit to the popular private FM radio station Radio Mirchi Mangalore on 6th April 2021. The students from the Marketing and HR specialization actively participated and were accompanied by Mr. Shivanand M. Bhandarkar, Assistant Professor and Mr. Shri Hari, office staff of the college. The station visit focused on providing inputs to students regarding how the radio stations work. The main objective was to make students aware of the operations of a private FM Radio. Students were amazed to know how much groundwork and preparations has to be done by the employees such as RJ’s, sales team, copywriters, programmers etc.   In order to sustain in a very competitive environment which is susceptible to change. Renowned radio jockey Mr. RJ Ajay and the station head Mr. Alok were very cooperative and interacted with students to make them understand the functioning of a private radio station.
