Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM) has organized “PRAJNA-2014” a day inter collegiate paper presentation competition for P.G. Students on “Innovative Management Strategies in global context” and “Prayug”- extracting talent on 11th April, 2014. Fifteen olleges participated and twenty two papers presented on the day. The whole programme organized by the students under the guidance of faculty Co-ordinators and the Director of the Institute. Morning at 10.00 a.m. programme started by lightening the lamp from student Co-ordinator of the Institute. In paper presentation Ms. Prajna, from Sahyadri Institute of Management won the I prize, Ms. Prashanthi, from M.S.Ramaia Institute of Management won the second prize.  In “Prayug K. S. Hegde Institute of Mmagement, Nitte won the I Prize and Alvas Institute of Management won the II Prize. Evening prizes awarded in the valedictory function. His Holiness Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, President Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council blessed the students and awarded the prizes for the winning students of paper presentation. Sri Pradeep Kumar, treasurer was in the dais and awarded prizes for the winning students of “Prayug”. Director Dr. M.R.Hegde welcomed the gathering. Chief faculty Co-ordinator CA Yadav Rama Hemady was on the dais. Ms. Sagarika of II MBA was the master of ceremony.

The HR forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management visited the old age nursing home- OZANAM at Kallianpur, Udupi on 28 th September 2018. During the visit the 12 students from HR specialisation along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa interacted with the elderly, seeking information regarding their good old days and about their present-day to day routine. Some of the elderly also shared their experiences with the students individually which was a good experience. The students also conducted spot games and activities to bring in some smiles on the old and tired faces. The inmates participated wholeheartedly and showed an excellent sportive spirit during these 2 hours. At the end, the Superior of the Old age home thanked the students for the noble initiative and blessed the students for the great sacrifice. HALF DAY VISIT TO “MAMATHEYA THOTTILU”

  On 20-03-2021 Poornaprajna Institute of Management, HR Forum ETICA, and IQAC jointly organized a half-day visit to 'Mamatheya Thottilu'. 13 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Prof. Joe Ashwin Correa visited the orphanage near Santhekatte,Udupi.  Ashritha M S hosted the program.  The program began with the self-introduction of the students, which was followed by the inmates also introducing themselves by telling their names, their class, their favorite food, favorite color, the name of their best friends, and the ambitions of their life.  Project coordinator Ms. Marina Elizabeth introduced the staff members Rekha, Prema, Jayanthi and others to the gathering. Inmates showcased their talent by singing “Needu Shiva Needadiru Shiva” spiritual song. Industrial Visit to Medium & Scale Industries of Udupi District 2019

An Industrial Visit was organized for the students of III semester of Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 07 th December 2019 to the Medium and Small Scale Industries of the Udupi district.   First and foremost, the students visited the Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd, located in Havanje where the students witnessed an elaborate process of milk processing. The hi-tech production was explained very patiently by Mr Sadananda, the supervisor of the plant, who took the students across the newly inaugurated production unit. He elaborately provided information about the collection, heating, pasteurizing, maintenance, packing and finally distribution of the milk and the milk products. The students were also shown the latest automated technology which required minimum human intervention for milk processing.
