Faculty development Programme on “Social Entrepreneurship, sustainability and Rural Engagement” was held at Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 12th November 2022. Prof.Chetan Chittalkar, Director of Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education was the resource person for the FDP. Dr.G.S. Chandrashekar, Secretary of the governing council of PIM and the Medical Director of Adarsha Hospital was the chief guest of the programme. Rural people are energetic, sincere and have good inquisitiveness. Further they can perform any task with exceptional ability. 09th Nov, 2022 , by PIM Our Institute has always stood firmly with those students who are underprivileged or are in need of help and assistance in any sphere of their academic and personal life. Poornakash -The Training and Placement cell, identified the students who are in need of assistance and made an attempt to approach corporate organisations to lend a helping hand. Muthoot Finance, the well known NBFC of our nation especially their branch in Mangalore stepped forward and joined hands with the Institute to provide help to the deserving students. Mr. Kiran Udupa and Mr. Rathish Bhandary of the batch 2020-22, are two such student beneficiaries who were identified and were provided with financial assistance (received a cheque of Rs 15,000/- each) under Education Charity by Muthoot M.
