Extension programme: Human Rights – The concept , organised by the Human Rights Cell of PIM in association with Udupi zilla Kanakadasa Seva Samaja (Regd.)
Human rights cell of PIM conducted an extension programme on the concept of Human Rights to the children of Kuruba community studying at volakadu school. around 50 students of Volakadu school belonging to the said community were the beneficiaries. 15 students of the said cell designed the content for the programme. Human rights, its extent, scope, protection, legal mechanism to protect human rights were dealt in depth by the students of PIM through their presentations. The programme concluded with students conducting few games to entertain the children and through distribution of sweets to the children of kuruba community.
